Transparant and Responsible

Achieving the lowest possible total costs for the highest quality product is our primary goal. Our success factor is based on 30 years experience, knowledge, expertise, sourcing, benchmarking and customer feedback. We create maximum transparency for our services and products from the advice, product selection and supplier stages through to project logistics. This means all our processes are documented and formalized. Performance is monitored and audited frequently, both internally and externally.

Procurement agent

Right from the quotation phase, we notify customers of the source, brand and supplier of the products we select. Where possible, we offer alternatives to ensure our customers can make the right choice that meets their specific requirements. In our vision, maximum transparency is realized when customers select The Medical Export Group (MEG) in the role of a procurement agent. We can run projects based on a fixed project fee and offer the customer total insight into the decision process, prices, procurement costs etc. This enables our customers to retain an overview and to maintain control of projects.

Please contact the sales department for more information about our sourcing activities and MEG as a procurement agent.

MEG attaches great importance to doing business ethically. We enforce a policy of zero-tolerance when it comes to unethical behaviour, or unprofessional or fraudulent acts by bidders. We also adhere to international ethical standards and only select suppliers who support our values on issues such as child labour and anti-personnel mines.

Ethical behaviour

MEG supports the preservation of children’s rights and is against the production of mines. We also ask our suppliers to support the following conditions. The supplier represents and guarantees that neither it nor its affiliates are engaged in any practice inconsistent with the rights set forth in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, including article 32 thereof, which, inter alia, requires that a child shall be protected from performing any work that is likely to be hazardous or to interfere with the child’s education, or to be harmful to the child’s health, or physical, mental, spiritual, moral or social development. The supplier guarantees that neither the supplier’s company, nor any of its affiliates, nor any subsidiaries controlled by its company, are engaged in the sale or manufacture of anti-personnel mines or of components utilized in the manufacture of anti-personnel mines.

MEG is an active and committed partner in the communities where we live, work and conduct our business. At MEG we recognize that environmental sustainability involves a continuous effort requiring prudent use and preservation of our natural resources. Our offices and warehouse take steps to minimize our environmental impact by complying with, and often going beyond, a growing number of environmental regulations. Notable examples are the heating and cooling systems and waste management.
