Suppliers of pharmaceuticals
Since our services and quality depend heavily on the quality and performance of our suppliers of pharmaceuticals, we select and screen them and their products carefully. Pharmaceuticals can only be purchased from prequalified suppliers. All manufacturers comply with the guidelines for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) as stipulated by the World Health Organisation. The manufacturing facilities are audited on a regular basis to assess compliance with GMP. All products must comply with the specifications as described in the British, United States or International pharmacopeia.
Quality awareness
Although the QA department bears ultimate responsibility for the quality our organization offers, every employee plays an important role in the process. MEG employees are fully aware of their responsibilities within the supply chain and undergo several in-house training courses each year. The training programmes our staff complete include GDP guidelines, CE markings, Incoterms and handling hazardous goods. We do this from the strong conviction that all our company’s departments and staff influence the complete fulfilment of the quality process, and are closely involved in them.
